105 year old bonsai bearing fruit

I took this photo in late November 2014 at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA. I live a few miles from this wonderful garden and visit often. A docent pointed out to me that a bee must have flown into the display and pollinated the tree. Amazing, a full size pomegranate fruit on a 105 year old bonsai tree. Bliss, something that old is still fruitful.
